Virtual meets visceral in this collaborative process-driven, immersive, multidisciplinary work resulting in an audio- visual VR experiment combining physical performance, textural installation, theatrical costume, digital art, 360-degree filmmaking and sound.
Part of Virtual Black Out: Experiments in the Future of Form, a project reimagining live performance for the digital ‘space’ at the virtual National Arts Festival. my many mouths has subsequently been selected for the Pan-African Telematic Art Project Grant to exhibit at Ars Electronica (Austria), Fak’ugesi Digital Arts Festival and Vrystaad Kunsfees.
my many mouths was conceptualised and created by Noluthando Lobese, Vanessa Lorenzo, Nicola Pilkington and Lindiwe Matshikiza, and co-produced in partnership with Fak’ugesi, vNAF2020 and Panafrican Telematic Arts Project.
